- Camera: Used exclusively in real-time to scan QR codes and barcodes. Camera frames are processed locally on your device and are never recorded, saved, or transmitted to any server.
- Photo Library / Storage: Used only when you choose to scan an image from your gallery or save an exported QR/barcode image to your device.
On-Device Processing: All scanning algorithms, text recognition, and barcode generation run locally using your device's native hardware and APIs.
3. Data Collection and Tracking
Scanora does not collect, store, sell, or rent your personal data. We do not track your activity across third-party apps or websites, and we do not use third-party analytics SDKs that profile users.
4. Third-Party Links & Content
When you scan a QR code or barcode containing a web link (URL), opening that link will launch your device’s default web browser or app. Those external websites operate under their own independent privacy policies.
